Snowshoeing in Switzerland
Snow has covered nature with its soft, sparkling white blanket. Now is the perfect time to put on your snowshoes and set off to discover the silent, pristine wonders of winter, far from the hustle and bustle of the slopes, in unspoilt, peaceful natural surroundings. What could be better than snowshoeing in Switzerland?
When snowshoeing, the paths taken are not the same as in summer. This allows you to rediscover familiar landscapes in a new light: forests frozen in silence, sleepy meadows, valleys bathed in soft light… The atmosphere is soothing, almost magical. The scenery has changed, inviting us to take a fresh look at the mountains.
Snow also becomes a veritable open book on wildlife: here the light bounds of a hare, there the furtive footprints of a chamois. Would you be able to recognise them? And what other discreet inhabitants of winter will arouse our curiosity and wonder?
Snowshoeing in Switzerland is also an opportunity to learn about winter safety. I will, of course, ensure your safety throughout the trip, but I will also teach you how to read the terrain, spot signs of danger, and use emergency equipment in the event of an avalanche. A practical, fun and essential introduction to any winter adventure.
Depending on your level and preferences, there are several routes to choose from: from a beginner’s snowshoe hike to a more challenging outing for the fittest. The choice is yours!
