Hiking in the Swiss National Park and the Engadine
The Swiss National Park and the Engadine are natural gems where Nature – with a capital N – expresses itself in all its splendour. Here, rivers still flow freely, the landscapes are wild, and wildlife is still abundant. With a bit of luck, we will be able to observe the “Big Five” of Graubünden: the bearded vulture, the marmot, the roe deer, the ibex and the red deer. The golden eagle, majestic lord of the skies, also deserves a place of honour on this list! As luck would have it, I can offer you a hike in the Swiss National Park and the Engadine!
In summer, the alpine meadows are adorned with a multicoloured carpet, marmots play and bask in the sun, while young fawns and kids timidly explore this magical setting.
At the beginning of autumn, the forests are adorned with flamboyant colours. In the hushed silence of the golden larch trees, a deep, wild sound echoes: the bellowing of the stag. A rare and moving moment, a true symphony of nature, which we could experience together as we stroll along a path.
To explore the Swiss National Park and its surroundings in depth, I suggest a 2- to 5-day immersion. There are two options available to you:
- Star-shaped stay: we stay in a comfortable hotel for the entire duration of the trip, and set off each day to explore new routes. Depending on the hotel chosen, its spa will be waiting for us every evening for a well-deserved moment of relaxation.
- Trek: for those who wish to explore places that are more difficult to access in a day – or that require a lot of travelling – and enjoy several days of hiking, we will move from stage to stage, from cabin to hotel.
Throughout your stay, I will enthusiastically share my knowledge of wildlife, flora, alpine ecosystems and local traditions. A rich, sensory and deeply rejuvenating experience.
