3 days snowshoeing – 6-8 February 2026

Winter is here, and so is the snow. Treat yourself to a break in the countryside surrounded by winter scenery. Put on your snowshoes and join me for a holiday in the Pays d’Enhaut and Saanenland region.

Over these three days, let yourself be guided through carefully selected itineraries. Far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, these walks invite you to slow down, breathe and reconnect with what matters most.

Keep your eyes open: footprints in the snow reveal the discreet presence of local wildlife. Can you guess which animal passed by here?

And after all that effort, it’s time to relax: every evening, return to the cosy comfort of a comfortable hotel, ideal for unwinding, enjoying a delicious meal and prolonging the pleasure of your adventure.

A winter break filled with wonder, relaxation and discovery.

Why do we use an avalanche transceiver?

When snowshoeing, we travel on unsecured routes. Unlike ski slopes, snowshoe trails – even marked ones – are largely unprotected against avalanches. Marked routes are generally positioned in such a way as to minimise risk. Unmarked routes are rated (WT1-WT6) based on the terrain; avalanche rescue equipment is not required for the first level (WT1). Consequently, depending on the route and conditions on the day, it may or may not be necessary to carry avalanche rescue equipment. The basic emergency equipment consists of an avalanche transceiver, a probe and a shovel.

Rest assured: as a mountain leader, I select routes with the utmost care. I analyse the weather reports and avalanche bulletins every day to select the safest routes. Safety is my absolute priority.

The avalanche transceiver is therefore not a sign of imminent danger, but a precautionary measure that allows us to travel in snowy terrain. It’s like wearing a helmet when cycling.
