Hiking, gastronomy and full moon: the perfect trio for a successful outing!

After hiking up to our “summit” of the day, we will take a well-deserved break to savour an authentic fondue prepared by us. Yes, in the middle of nature, with all the equipment taken out of the rucksack! And between bites, you can take the opportunity to contemplate the Pre-Alpine nature surrounding us. We will begin the descent as the sun pretends to go to bed and the moon peeps out; by the time we return to the starting point, we will be hiking under a magnificent full moon.

A day where culinary delights and fresh air come together for an unforgettable social occasion.

Details of the gourmet full moon hike

Date:
- Saturday 26 September 2026
- Is Saturday not suitable for you? Contact me for a possible departure on Friday 25 or Sunday 27 September (from 2 people onwards).
Location and time:
- Meeting point at the bus stop “Schwarzsee, Campus” at 15:00.
- Return to the same place at 21:00.
Groupe:
- Minimum 4 persons
- Maximum 8 persons
Language:
- To be defined according to the group composition (French, German, English, or a mix).

Physical difficulty:
- 9 km and 600 m of positive/negative elevation gain.
Price:
- CHF 130.- per person.
- Discount of CHF 15.- p.p. for a registration of 2 people or more.
- Discount of CHF 20.- for people who are already “Along the Ridge guests”. Not cumulative with the discount above.
Registration deadline:
- Monday 21 September 2026
Included:
- The organisation and the mountain leader.
- The fondue, the bread, a bottle of white wine.
Not included:
- Drinks (water for the hike, tea/herbal tea for the fondue).
- Return journeys between your home and the meeting point.
- Any service not explicitly mentioned.
Equipment
- Insulating cushion for sitting comfortably during meals.
- A white wine glass.
- I will provide the fondue equipment, but it will be distributed among the participants at the start of the hike.
- A detailed equipment list will be sent after registration. This list is for guidance.
Remarks:
- You don’t eat fondue ? It doesn’t matter. Come with your own dinner and enjoy a discount.
- Despite all care taken to ensure everyone’s safety, mountain activities involve a residual risk which the participant accepts.
