Introduction to carried hike – 2026
Feel like enjoying a true nature break with your baby, comfortably nestled against you and lulled by the rhythm of your walk? I propose a two-day introduction to carried hike – perfect for building confidence, discovering best practices, and savouring a special moment with your family.
What awaits you:
- A very small group to ensure you get time, attentive support, and personalised guidance for every parent(s) + baby.
- A moment to slow down and bond: breathe, enjoy nature with your little one.
- Two varied and pleasant routes:
- a first “urban-nature” route, perfect for easing in gently thanks to reassuring infrastructure, while staying mostly off roads and surrounded by trees.
- a second trail, easy but slightly technical, to practically experience carrying hiking principles under varied conditions.
Treat yourself to this time with your family and return with precious memories and real confidence in your carrying hiking practice.
Do you wish to carry your child in a sling? Specialised carrying instructors are ready to accompany you during a workshop dedicated to carrying hiking. I’ll be happy to guide you to the nearest expert.
This hike is part of the theme « carrying hikes » – practical information is available on the dedicated page.
